My Angry Birds Invites!

I am so happy they are finally done!!! Thank you all for your patients on letting me figure out how to do this. I got my inspiration from lindseyjohnstonallen.blogspot.com. She made a really cute birthday card and I went with it. Here is the step by step to do it yourself!

My first little piece of advise when making a large amount of cards that would normally be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 I make them 4 x 5 1/2. If you are using a 12x12 sheet of paper you will get 2 more cards out of it by taking away 1/4".

This sheet was cut 4"x5". I then took a CM circle cutter and cut a section out. You can also use a plate, pencil, and scissors.

Next item to cut out were the eyes. I used the CM circle punch 1 1/4" size. Obviously I need two for each card.

Next was the beak. I just grabbed some textured random yellow card stock. Cut it into 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" square.

Just after I used again scrap black textured paper to create the eye brows at 1/2"x 2"

Now we get to put it all together!
First I overlaped the white circles for the eyes:
Then go ahead and grab two of the eyebrows and have them overlap the eyes and meet each other with an overlap in the center. Make sure you give them a major arch cause they look more "angry" that way!

I was going to have my cricut cut out the black for the eyes. My father walks by and says use your Sharpie! DUH! Thanks Dad!

After that I had fun and cut out the beak from the yellow square. I free handed this as well. You can make it look larger or smaller.
Now you can do one of two things...You can put the eyes lower on the red or you can have them higher up. If you have them low than you have to have the beak hang off the red. If you do that you might want to add a little red behind it to make a "tongue". If you have it higher up on the red...the red is the backround so no tongue needed.

I then adheard the face to my 4"x 5 1/2" white card base.

I then celebrated with a fun stamp to finish the card off:
So hope you enjoyed my Angry Bird how to!
